Hospice Director Quality, Compliance & Education

Summary: Responsible for ensuring that the overall quality of patient care is high through ongoing staff education, monitoring of Agency systems and processes and directing the coordination of all continuous quality improvement projects. Manages quality program and staff and fosters involvement of all staff in quality initiatives. Oversees the education staff responsible for internal and external education programs, including orientation. Ensures the Agency's compliance with applicable local, state, federal laws and regulations and accrediting bodies.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field required; Master's Degree preferred. Licensed to practice in MA
Experience: Minimum 5 years hospice or home care experience with demonstrated knowledge and experience in quality improvement. Strong knowledge and understanding of Medicare regulations, Joint Commission standards and Continuous Quality Improvement. Demonstrated ability to lead change in a complex organization. Excellent interpersonal skills required for working with diverse audiences. High level communication skills along with the ability to organize and provide staff education and develop, monitor and coordinate all Agency quality improvement activities.
