Component Quality Specialist

Job Description:

Principal Accountabilities

  • Responsible for inspecting assembled product to ensure adherence to documented requirements.

  • Complete physical inspections of product.

  • Audit against documents and procedures.

  • Provide recommendations to processes and procedures.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Complexity

  • Acquires basic skills to perform routine tasks

  • Work is prescribed and completed with little autonomy

  • Has no discretion to vary from established procedures

  • Works with either close supervision or under clearly defined procedures

Experience / Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related degree, preferred

  • 0-2 years combined internship/professional experience in the design, testing, inspection or support of semiconductors, chips, hardware, and electronic components (or similar)

  • Knowledgeable with the following: RoHS, ISO 9001, ESD, MSL, curve trace, XRF, X-Ray, Decapsulation, Heated solvents Testing, HP Microscopy etc. IDEA Certified Component Inspector a plus
