Position Summary Hands-on position for a Systems Engineer to serve as a member of the deployment team. The ideal candidate brings projects through the electrical phase of the installation to the site acceptance testing, including sub system verification, teaching automation, and solving complex technical problems in a variety of disciplines. Using the latest hardware and software for robotics, automation, and controls the candidate will play a key role in bringing products and systems to reality. Essential Job Functions: Conducts and supports electrical integration, communication testing, automation commissioning, factory acceptance testing, and site acceptance testing. Identify and document issues and track them through resolution. Will be involved in process improvement plans of installation and commissioning. Domestic and international travel is required. Travel will consist of 2-3 week durations. Reports documentation. Experience & Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electro Mechanical, Systems Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline. Working knowledge of robotics, automation, and control systems. System level understanding and ability to debug/troubleshoot automation systems and other complex technical systems. Proficient with computers and basic business software. Experience with Elmo application Studio or other motion control software is a plus. Understanding of programming C, C++, C#, and or scripting languages is a plus. Knowledge of CAN networks is a plus. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
