Member Services Support Specialist (part-time)
HealthFitness has a great opportunity for a part-time (5-15 hours/week) Member Services Support Specialist at our MIT client site in Cambridge, MA. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering professional and positive customer service experiences at the Zesiger Sports and Fitness Center. You will support auxiliary desk operations during peak operational hours including towel service, equipment check-out, reservations, and access control. In addition, you will supervise golf simulator reservations including customer check-in, simulator usage instruction, golf equipment support and security on evenings and weekends.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversees golf simulator operations and golf range security while on duty.
Responsible for folding and distribution of towels to patrons.
Manages the booking of squash, outdoor tennis, and golf simulator reservations.
Monitors all turnstile entries, building access lists, and daily event sheets.
Enforces all youth access facility policies.
Issues and collects equipment check-out items.
Enhances the lives of our community by demonstrating the type behavior and decision-making skills that are in line with our quality standards (Safety, Approachability, Knowledge).
Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and Certifications:
High School Diploma required
Current First Aid and CPR/AED or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
1+ years of frontline customer service experience.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands.
Ability to enforce departmental policies and follow operating procedures.
