Minimum of 5 years of experience working with and supporting senior level, executive staff. Fluency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access), plus Outlook. Well-developed writing, grammar, punctuation, and proofreading abilities, as demonstrated through an assigned writing test. Extended work hours are required in this role.Additional Qualifications:Work collaboratively, as needed, with the correspondence team on preparation of written correspondence. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple, time sensitive projects under tight deadlines. High level of independent judgment, discretion, confidentiality and attention to detail required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary.

This position performs a range of duties to ensure daily operations are executed seamlessly within the Office.
The selected candidate will need to: develop effective systems and processes to ensure the proactive management of a highly complex schedule which will require prioritizing and reprioritizing commitments as necessary; act as the primary point of contact for the Office of the President with internal and external constituents, including deans, faculty, students, staff and alumni; review and research requests for the President's time and recommend alternatives; make complex travel arrangements, maintain key contacts and an invitation database. Greet the President's visitors and guests in a welcoming and professional manner; ensure proper meeting room preparation, including catering on and off site.
The selected candidate will ensure that the President and key staff are fully briefed on commitments, the rationale for changes to schedule, and will prudently identify and resolve issues as applicable. The candidate will proactively seek and build key relationships across the University and develop organizational knowledge in support of the President and his initiatives.
