This Patient Financial Services Learning, Development & Q A Specialist Trainer will be responsible for:
Facilitating the onboarding and orientation of new PFS employees in conjunction with ongoing learning and development needs of existing employees.
Developing and designing presentation training materials and training new and existing staff on all registration, financial clearance and hospital accounts receivable processes and system functionality.
Training of non-PFS departments for registration functions.
Maintaining tools to monitor key performance metrics and quality standards to ensure operational effectiveness; linking quality and learning together.
Collaborating with Application Support and Foundations on issues related to system training and quality assurance.
Providing training for system installations and upgrades.
Traveling to satellite facilities to provide training when necessary.
To qualify you must have:
A Bachelor's degree and four to seven years combined experience in instructional training or learning and development and/or design of training materials. Experience working in hospital registration and/or business office preferred.
Excellent analytical skills to resolve complex problems based on cross functional knowledge with the ability to translate into effective training programs.
The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with all audiences in addition to being able to work independently, establishing priorities, organizing workloads, meeting and establishing deadlines and taking direction as needed.
Exceptional attention to detail.
The ability to provide exceptional service that supports the department and hospital operations and work collaboratively with internal and external customers.
Experience with Microsoft Office, especially, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, Epic ADT, Prelude or Resolute certification preferred. Additional Epic certification a plus.
