As the Knowledge Management Consultant you’ll ensures that information is appropriately gathered, analyzed, stored, shared, reviewed and updated in line with business requirements. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing Library content, which includes improving usability, readability, advanced use segmentation & engagement and improving the sites content discovery. The Knowledge Management Consultant will research, develop and implement knowledge management practices as they apply to organizational culture, operational processes, and technology. Manage projects, or workstreams within a larger project, that are non-cyclical and varied, aligning with the project management life cycle (initiating/defining; planning; executing; close-out) and supporting business priorities. This role may also perform some project work, such as research and analysis and work under limited direction from manager on more complex tasks.
Monitor and maintain an effective change control process to ensure all content is relevant and compliant to policy, procedures and standards.
Review Reference Guides and process documents as new materials are developed.
Design and deploys tools, workflows, job aides to support new or existing practices and procedures to ensure consistency in appearance and content.
Identifies appropriate delivery methodologies based on audience learning styles, nature of content to be delivered within the context of business needs and constraints.
Explores new methods for delivering content in relevant ways to include text, video, and other emerging options such as gamification
Seeks feedback to ensure materials are developed as required and to identify improvement opportunities.
Knowledge Management skills and behaviors normally acquired through a related bachelor's degree (or equivalent) experience and 5 or more years related work experience.
Experience with the Verint Knowledge Management system a plus.
Advanced analytical/problem solving and research skills.
Effective communication skills for delivering content feedback, writing reports/proposals and making presentations.
Ability to work independently and lead others during projects.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and data base software.
