This practice is intended to better enable functional leaders to understand all of the large-scale initiative demand, when it is scheduled to occur, who is needed to complete the work, and where conflicts resolution is needed.
You’ll be asked to do all of the typical program/project management responsibilities such as defining, planning, staffing, managing, reporting on, and closing complex programs/projects. You’ll also need to produce the associated artifacts to support those responsibilities.
You’ll be asked to do many of the typical business analysis functions such as defining and managing requirements, matching needs with solutions, understanding and improving business processes, authoring requirements, and creating ‘clarity out of chaos’.
You’ll be asked to help develop new delivery methodologies, build additional capabilities, and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the team.
You’ll be asked to communicate to small and larger groups, and do so with a high level of confidence, while being able to balance the right level of both verbal and written messaging
