Doble Engineering Co Product Support Engineer in Watertown, Massachusetts


Doble is currently seeking a Product Engineer who will interact with Doble clients worldwide. Based in our Watertown, Massachusetts office, the successful candidate will be a highly organized, self-directed individual. The Product Engineer will interact with customers and all levels of management and employees throughout the organization, both domestic and international, necessitating strong communication, technical and customer service skills.

Essential Job Functions

  • Providing hardware/software troubleshooting support for clients on various Doble High Voltage (10 kV) Products:.

  • Troubleshoot to system/board level components and execute a repair/replace strategy.

  • Analyze failure modes and corrective actions for frequently reported test instrumentation problems. Conduct investigations to determine the level of escalation for Doble product M-Series reported issues.

  • Make recommendations on improvements to all Doble M-Series instruments.

  • Act as the “Go to Person" for all hardware related issues.

  • Provide reports (metrics) and tracking procedures to management to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Edit, approve and create orders in database system and ensure equipment has on-time delivery.

  • Related duties as assigned.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.



  • 3-5 years’ experience in the field of Electrical Engineering.

  • Strong background and experience troubleshooting analog and digital circuitry is preferred

  • Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office

  • Strong Customer Relations Skills

  • Understanding of programming to help with database search engine

  • Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications
