Robert Half Finance is looking for an extraordinary Financial Analyst to join a dynamic firm. In this role, you will conduct financial modeling on a range of financial products and measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing reports for management and advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives. In this role, you will serve as a key business partner in areas such as forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. This Financial Analyst role, which is a full-time employment opportunity, is located in the Waltham, Massachusetts. What you get to do every day - Keep track of monthly and quarterly performance by comparing actuals versus expectations and enabling business partners to handle their resources in the best way possible - Work alongside cross-functional partners in Accounting, Recruiting, People, and Operations to see the proper execution of plans - Work with the Accounting team on monthly and quarterly financial close processes - Manage the strategy and business planning processes - Survey performance to date and assess potential opportunities and risks - This position requires a flexible individual who is adept at managing expectations and comfortable with handling large amounts of information - Develop a strong understanding of econometric and statistical methods to apply to forecasting - Have a thorough understanding of internal and external drivers and be able to explain how they are impacting performance and trending - Collaborate with senior executives on strategic deep dives through the development of financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization - Provide methodical support within the New Year readiness/Year End planning cycle - Develop monthly reports to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required - Work closely within the Marketing and Customer Success organizations. Establish trust and quickly develop an understanding of the key drivers of business, economic trends and core metrics - Drive Area/Segment level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis, as well as P L forecasting - Deliver effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide valuable foresight and decision support
