Manpower is looking for an Administrative Assistant
The job is located in Newton, MA Monday - Friday 8-5pm PAYING $20 AN HOUR
This assignment is for 4 months
Provides support to the Presidents Executive Assistant (EA) and is responsible for managing the Presidents and executive team administrative needs to ensure his/her time is effectively allocated and that he/she has the information and materials needed to advance priorities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive range of support services assisting the Executive Assistant to the Executive Team:
70% Calendar, Travel & Expense Management
Work in tandem with EA to schedule meetings and meeting requests.
Travel planning and coordination
Prepare weekly expense reports (American Express/Concur)
Invoice and purchase order management (SAP)
10% Social Media
- Ideas for posting in internal Social Media: Chatter
10% Offsite meeting research/planning
Plan retreats, off-sites, meetings, and other department-related projects and events.
Plan & Organize team building activities for the teams rolling up to the executive, organize site visits, annual retreats and other internal activities and meetings
Obtain competitive pricing.
10% Logistical and Administrative Support
Primary assistance to Presidents Executive Assistant.
Formatting PowerPoint presentations
Interacting with senior leadership team members and their support staff.
Education, Experience, & Skills Required:
Associates Degree preferred or commensurate experience in an Administrative role required
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Strong project management skills preferred
Ability to work well in a team environment across geographies
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the Internet
Proven ability to independently manage many changing tasks simultaneously
Ability to manage own and leaders' priorities with minimal guidance
Demonstrates superior conference call and meeting etiquette
Builds and maintains excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance
Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation and as a relationship builder
Displays engaging interpersonal skills including the ability to think and act strategically, provide sound judgment, and provide a positive and energetic attitude
