As the Office Administrator, the candidate will provide assistance with the daily office operations of the WorkMarket Boston team. They will be the seated at reception, and will be the first point of contact for all visitors, and for office administration duties. The ideal candidate will have a can do attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to get the job done.

You will report to the Office Manager for WorkMarket with dotted line to the leadership of the Boston office.

The Position


  • Greet employees, visitors, vendors, customers and candidates in a friendly professional manner at our front desk reception area. Manage a professional and clean working environment.
  • Track, order and stock office supplies and pantry inventories to ensure adequate supplies are available at all times.
  • Liaise with building management on office service issues and ensure general services are maintained.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding.
  • Support various WM Boston staff with miscellaneous administrative requests and projects.
  • Maintain and facilitate effective operations of all conference rooms, kitchen, and open area.
  • Receives courier deliveries and notify recipients of inbound packages.
  • Maintain space planning records including employee desk assignments and equipment distribution.

  • Coordinate weekly lunches and monthly office events such as happy hours, parties and socials and implement regular team building activities as directed.
  • Maintain the office phone directory and any other WM Boston data on the WINTranet


We are looking for the following experience, knowledge and abilities:

  • 1 – 2 years of administrative experience.
  • Experience working for a startup or a small company a plus.
  • College Diploma or University Degree in related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of Apple computers and Gmail suite.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Personable and self-starter who takes initiative.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
