Hamilton Storage is looking for a motivated Electrical Engineer/Electronics Engineer to join our R&D team. The individual will be involved with product development of our industry-leading robotic storage and labware handling systems used worldwide in the life sciences industry. Responsibilities include: Develop prototypes for feasibility analysis. Perform system testing to evaluate performance and functionality. Understand mechanical, electrical and electronics drawings. Safely troubleshoot electrical systems to 480 VAC. Troubleshoot board level electronics. Install and assemble electronic systems based on technical specifications. Recommend upgrades and modifications to improve system performance. Repair and maintain electronic systems as needed. Operate power tools safely. Assist in system documentation. Education and Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology or similar. Comparable work experience if no degree. Excellent troubleshooting/diagnostics skills. Familiar with CAD tools. (AutoCad, SolidWorks, or similar) Good written and verbal communication skills. Learn more about us @: www.hamiltoncompany.com.
