This part time job requires you to have a solid understanding of consumer electronics and the ability to sell technology while providing outstanding customer service. As a Consumer Electronics Specialist, you will be responsible for proactively engaging customers, answering product related questions along with recommending the best add-ons to improve user experience. You will also go through extensive training that will provide you with the tools needed in returning the devises to their original state for restocking. Seek out opportunities in department to engage customers with their consumer electronic questions and purchases
Must be knowledgeable of modern consumer electronic devices i.e. TV, Smartphones, Laptops, Printers, Video Game Consoles, etc
Participate in initial as well as on-going product training, team meetings, client trainings, etc. (paid) as a requirement
Must complete accurate and timely HR paperwork and reports online; call reports, expense reports (if applicable), training certification quizzes, etc. Participate in mandatory conference calls (paid)
High School Diploma, G.E.D. or 1- 2 years’ equivalent applicable work experience
Basic technical knowledge a requirement, advanced technology skills and abilities is a plus
Must be a self-starter, energetic, results driven, committed and passionate
1-2 years of retail sales, marketing, customer service or event promotion experience a plus
Reliable Internet access
Ability to work a Part Time Schedule weekdays and 2 weekend a month

The Retail Specialist CE (Consumer Electronics) is responsible for communicating key initiatives and information on selling the client’s products. Primary responsibility is to demonstrate, interact, promote, and sell the client’s products to the consumer in a positive manner.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Train store associates and store management on key benefits of client products
Encourage store associates and store management to recommend client product to customers through training activities and relationship building
Enthusiastically engage, qualify, and close customers on sales of clients products
Seek sales opportunities in departments throughout the store to maximize sales and sales of related attachments
Ensure products are on display, functioning properly, and presentable to customers
Take direction regarding tagging, rotating, and placing POS materials (provided)
- Participate in initial as well as on-going product training, team meetings, client trainings, etc.
- Communicate professionally and effectively withAdvantage Solutionsmanagement team, retail sales associates, retail management team, and customers
Complete accurate and timely HR paperwork and reports online; call reports, expense reports (if applicable), training certification quizzes, etc.
Participate in mandatory conference calls
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities for direct reports
This position does not have guidance or mentoring responsibilities for indirect reports
Travel and/or Driving Requirements
Travel and Driving is an essential duty and function of this job

The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job
Education Level: (Required): High School Diploma or GED o r equivalent experience
1-3 years of experience in sales experience of a technical product or service in a retail, call center, or indirect environment
Previous sales or marketing experience preferred
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Very strong oral and written communication skills
Results and action oriented - ownership minded
Timely Communications Required. It is mandatory that responses to management phone calls or emails are returned within 24 hours
Professional demeanor and image compatible with the Client andAdvantage Solutions
Self -motivated, and organized, while remaining flexible and adaptable
Must be Internet savvy with access to a computer - broadband preferred
Must have a cell phone; text messaging strongly preferred
Reliable transportation; i.e. personal car for transportation to stores/events/meetings
Self-motivated, ambitious, committed to self and driven to succeed
Strong communication skills with the confidence to influence key decision makers at the store level
Must possess excellent organizational skills and have the ability to complete daily procedures and responsibilities without direct supervision

Field / Administrative Requirements
Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work may be performed in an office, field, retail store, or warehouse environment. Typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each work day doing the following activities: engage in considerable physical activity, ability to lift and/or push up to 20 pounds, stand on feet for long periods of time, use products or cook food as appropriate for the demonstration, and may be required to work in extremely cold conditions (i.e. refrigerated and freezer sections). Also required to travel and drive. The use of proper safety practices when handling the products and/or cooking is essential.
