This senior level role is responsible for leading the planning, development, execution, and reporting of tests for complex systems and equipment. The individual will collaborate with various teams across IT to identify the impacts of test requirements and improve the overall quality of the final deliverables. As a subject matter expert (SME), this person will possess strong communication skills and will be expected to partner with business and technical groups in order to anticipate the effects of testing and bring timely resolution to critical issues. As a mentor to the team, this person will provide expert advice and direction, will coordinate and drive continual process improvement, and provide input to management for annual performance reviews. This person will also provide industry knowledge regarding test strategy development, test R&D activities, and technical support.

Design and Implementation of automated test for service orchestration framework.
Implementation of automation for execution and verification of above tests from jenkins and ant.
Test coverage in the areas of:
application and appliance installation and upgrade
application and appliance remote operation and configuration via REST
Managemement operations including CLI, NETCONF, HTML GUI, REST
Scale, stress, and concurrency tests
The candidate will be working within an Agile development team that develops a software applicance to orchestrate network elements.

The candidate will be leading a small Agile development team and will be a responsible for leading a small team developing automated tests for use in using a software applicance that orchestrates both physical and SDN-NFV network elements.
The candidate will implement automated tests and automated test verification
Software under test includes a Network Service Orchestration system that configures and monitors multiple commercial, open source, and internally developed network elements.
The candidate must have excellent problem solving, and communication skills, and must be self-motivated.
Minimum 2 years experience in a lead SQA role
Minimum 5 years experience with automated QA test implementation
Minimum 5 years experience with automated test development in a Linux environment
Minimum 5 years experience with automated test development in a web (REST, and HTML) environment
Minimum 5 years experience with linux tools and automated test tools (ansible, expect, bash, selenium, ...)
Knowledge and understanding of networking topology and device configuration
Development experience with network management methods and tools including Yang, NETCONF, REST
Strong problem solving and communication skills
Bachelors degree or equivalent education and experience with typically 10+ years related experience, or 8+ years related experience with Masters degree.
