You can learn more by visiting Job: 174 VP Engineering/CTO Responsibilities: Leading and prioritizing all Development activities for Vecna Patient Solutions Establishing strategic decisions on technology architecture, technical and application design, and implementation of our software products. Planning, directing, and coordinating all technical activities, associated with building software products across multiple functional teams. Allocating projects, products, and resources to ensure that our products and our product development processes, meet the needs of the organization and our customers. Delivering and reporting on the product roadmap, within the established budget and timelines. Selecting and managing external engineering resources, to deliver various aspects of the product roadmap. Establishing and managing the department budget. Requirements: 15+ years in industry taking on progressively more senior roles 10+ years building complex, enterprise scale applications. Experience managing SAAS, cloud-based applications and enterprise level applications. Knowledge of Java, Postgres, Hibernate, Backbone/Torso and Tomcat. Experience with integrated devices, e.g. tablets, mobile phones and kiosks would be a plus. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
