U.S. Bank SMB Consultant in Boston, Massachusetts

Elavon is currently seeking an eCommerce Sales Consultant who will be a part of the Global eCommerce Team. The SMB Consultant is responsible for growing eCommerce revenue within the Financial Institution (FI) Channel. They will develop and deliver impactful sales training and coaching programs on the organization's eCommerce products and/or services for field sales representatives to drive better business results. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Determine training needs and opportunities by traveling with sales representatives in their respective territories, observing sales encounters, studying sales results reports and consulting with sales managers

  • Design training classes, training materials and prepare documentation.

  • Work jointly with SMB sales representatives to Identify, prospect and close new to company eCommerce opportunities

  • Develop and deliver customized client proposals, demonstrations and presentations.

  • Monitor sales representatives performance and response to training, identify and evaluate opportunities for improvement, follow-up with sales representatives to ensure they are accomplishing their agreed upon steps to improve their sales results.

  • Engage with product team to help drive strategy

  • Promote eCommerce products to bankers

  • Become the eCommerce subject matter expert for the assigned channel

  • Deliver onsite and field training events/sessions via seminars, workshops and individual training sessions to current sales staff;, partner with individual department to outline expectations and coordinate training tools, schedules, and agendas

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Three years Payments Industry experience

  • Five years client-facing experience

  • Passion for innovation, emerging technology

  • Ability to travel 50% of the time

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Experience in a client facing role selling and/or supporting complex enterprise software, technical or financial services

  • Strong presentation/public speaking skills

  • Ability to understand complex requirements and devise customized solutions

  • Creative deal closer

  • Solve complex needs and work across internal teams including risk, operations, product etc.

  • Experience working on team

  • History of exceeding quota

  • Relevant network is a plus

  • Experience with Salesforce.com
