Introduction:

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is hiring a professional Senior Sales Representative in the Northeast USA to handle established and new large retail accounts. This Senior Sales Representative will be the captain of a Toshiba sales portfolio, aligned with teammates to build relationships with our clients and prospects yielding strong partnerships with retailers.

Toshiba is in a period of major transformation which is resulting in a strong, but cost competitive position. This role is a critical and high-value responsibility, and the Senior Sales Representative will be at the forefront - bringing new capabilities to market.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish credible consultative relationships with retail clients in which Toshiba solutions are positioned to drive the client's desired business outcomes.

  • Lead team of sales support individuals and other resources who support the execution of the sales cycle

  • Build a strategy for growth in current account revenue and profitability - executing on that strategy looking months and years forward.

  • Expand business in account portfolio through new account acquisition using competitive sales tactics

  • Align with other Toshiba personnel who help manage client relationships to proactively work to resolution when required,

  • Customer demonstrations / presentations and preparation of detailed proposals that highlight value-oriented features of our offerings.

  • Strong communication skills with multiple levels of customer contacts (C-suite executives, business and technical advocates).

  • Attendance and contribution at Sales Meetings and trade shows

  • Develop extensive awareness of competitive offerings

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years proven, direct sales experience to Fortune 500 businesses

  • Minimum 5 years of experience selling solutions to retailers, banking, or other similar enterprises

  • Complex solution selling experience

  • Ability to understand retail high-level technology / operational concepts and apply to Toshiba solutions

  • Expertise in prospecting and developing relationships with C-Level Executives in IT and Business areas

  • Demonstrated quota achievement and territory growth.

  • Enjoyable personality and aptitude for fun and challenge, team-oriented and competitive environments

  • Skilled in MS Office Suite

Preferred Skills:

  • Existing relationships with decision makers in major retailers across the Northeast

  • Masters or other post-graduate degree relevant to Retail / Technology
