Position Description:

  1. Meet with our business partners to discuss potential Cover-All Nex Gen or Classic system solutions2. Gather business requirements3. Gather Regulatory Reporting statistical requirements4. Write BRDs – needs to understand the differences and the inter-dependencies in order to address critical functionality, such as form suppression, etc 5. Participate in software design sessions6. Perform UAT for BRDs (customizations)7. Perform UAT for ISO changes that have been adopted 8. Participate in all system based audits – including any SOX questions and annual review9. Perform all interface/feed work associated with both the Cover-All Classic and Nex Gen systems 10. Premium Feed/Interface work includes: a. Run daily production files, which includes the statistical reporting piece b. Develop the feed aspect of all customizations, ISO deviations, etc c. Test the files through multiple downstream system to ensure that the premium will book correctly, the stats are correct, the account receivable record is created, etc11. Premium Feed ‘On Hold’ Transactions a. Research why transactions did not pass from Nex Gen or Classic to the premium feed and correct the data 12. Premium Feed ‘Failed Transactions a. Research why transactions failed the iFeed edits and correct the data13. Massachusetts Auto weekly statistical feed to AIB/CAR a. Research and correct any transactions that failed to pass to the AIB/CAR in the weekly file14. ALIR Uninsured Motorist daily feeds – there are 17 state specific feeds a. Assist with the build b. Process error corrections for transactions that were not reported correctly15. PROS errors are corrected for transactions that failed to pass from the premium feed to CRS

Position Requirements:

  • 5 to 7 years of commercial or personal insurance experience* 5 years of experience with MS Office tools* 5 years of ISO experience (Insurance Service Offices)* CPCU studies a plus* Self starter and ability to work on your own* Excellent problem solving skills* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Excellent understanding of compliance, regulatory requirements and the insurance industry* Proven ability to interact with personnel at all levels of our organization* Strong understanding of property and casualty coverages* Strong understanding of policy rating and issuance process* Strong analytical sills* Providing support to co-workers, especially on products and ISO
