The Program Coordinator II will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating activities and daily operations of a program. Assisting in the development of new or revision of program goals and objectives.

  • Conferring with and advising staff and others to provide technical advice, problem solving assistance, answers to questions and program goals; referring to appropriate department person when unable to respond.

  • Preparing periodic reports and records on program activities, progress, status or other special reports for management or outside agencies.

  • Evaluating program effectiveness to develop improved methods.

  • Reviewing applications or other program documents independently or in conjunction with supervisor to determine acceptance or make decisions pertaining to program.

  • Assisting in the coordination of recruitment efforts.

  • Assisting with written communication and promotional literature.

  • Planning workshops, meetings or conferences; coordinating logistics, scheduling and participant communications.

  • Interacting and maintaining liaison with staff, faculty and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives.

  • Traveling to satellite locations.

  • Working periodic weekends.

To qualify, you must have:

  • An Associate's degree with 2 years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree preferred with an emphasis on clinical or psychology based disciplines (Child Life, Social Work, Psychology).

  • The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.

  • The ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.
