The Program Coordinator l will be responsible for:
Planning, organizing and implementing projects in support of the principles of family-centered care.
Creating opportunities for family input into hospital policy and programming design.
Providing administrative support to the program. (Scheduling OR/Clinic and consult appointments, etc.)
Monitoring program budget and maintaining related records.
Collaborating with other hospital staff, community-based professionals and patient families in developing internal and external educational and psychosocial support systems.
Supporting the goals and activities of the program as an active staff member and special health care needs parent consultant.
To qualify, you must have:
An Associate's degree with one year of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Previous healthcare administrative experience preferred.
The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
The ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.
