- Role Summary *
We’re looking for an experienced, talented, and results-oriented Consultant who knows how to connect and engage online and offline marketing audiences; the in-house subject matter expert on 1st, 2ndand 3rdparty data. This role will be responsible for leading the analysis, planning, development, and implementation of data-driven, technology-enabled audiences using the Data Management Platform (DMP) to enable optimization of multi-million dollar media campaigns . This role will be responsible for defining and driving forward overall strategy for the DMP & its underlying technology, and educating internal partners on its capabilities. This role is highly cross-functional and requires consulting with multiple stakeholders in areas of IT, Data Strategy, and eCommerce.
- Strategy & Analytics Development *
o Lead development of DMP & Audience vision with share-outs to broader teams and senior leadership.
o Build strategy frameworks and analytical tools for evaluating the impact of audience data on digital marketing.
o Partner with Media & Data Science teams to develop testing capabilities across DMP segments, including test structures, deployment and analysis.
o Develop high level story for monthly business reporting, working with Media teams and the DMP Analyst to reflect the impact of their data strategy on performance.
o Understand the digital customer journey and consult on customer personalization initiatives across the organization, providing expertise on how 1st, 2nd, and 3rdparty data can be used for site personalization.
o Oversee all future selection and maintenance of the DMP or ad technology stack in partnership with Data Strategy and IT teams.
* * Process/Continuous Improvement *
o Oversee maintenance and data integrity of DMP and input data feeds by creating auditing processes (for example, customer & prospect data being onboarded into platform).
o Identify opportunities to scale 1stparty data use, improve data cost or technology stack efficiencies through quarterly audits.
o Identify opportunities to enhance audience effectiveness through internal lifetime value modeling in partnership with Data Science team.
o Facilitate new integrations within and outside of the platform with digital vendors and internal data warehouses to enhance audience capabilities.
o Constantly have an “ear-to-the-ground” to bring technological advancements & opportunities to the organization that will help to support business strategies.
* * Data Governance & Training *
o Oversee DMP segment intake process and platform permissions.
o Oversee Doubleclick Marketing architecture and taxonomy in order to enforce consistency across digital media channels and stakeholders.
o Demonstrate an understanding of legal issues around data privacy and security.
o Providing data-oriented support and training on systems, procedures, best practices, related to data providers and quality.

Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree highly preferred.
5 years of experience in marketing/advertising, management consulting, insurance or other analytical field.
Experience with digital ecosystem, available data sources and methods of executing data-driven campaigns.
Familiarity with digital analytics tools such as DMPs, Google Doubleclick, Visual IQ, Optimizely, etc.
Strong Excel skills required. SQL, SAS, R, SPSS skills highly preferred.
Strong quantitative and problem solving skills working in complex, technical environments.
Knowledge of data modeling as well as third party digital data sources and research.
Must have passion for digital media and emerging technologies.
Must have project management experience in highly cross functional work environments, with both technical and strategic stakeholders.
Must have strong communication skills and ability to adapt communication to specific stakeholders.
