The Campaign Marketing Manager isresponsible for the creative and strategic vision for the successfuldevelopment and implementation of national and/or state-specific campaignmarketing plans to support his/her assigned product lines. Working with cross-functionalteams, this position will maximize opportunities to ensure revenue growth bygaining new business, as well as engaging current opportunities within existingmarkets.

The Campaign Marketing Manager isresponsible for tracking competition and market trends, and utilizes thisinformation when creating product messaging that portrays his/her programs inthe most competitively advantaged manner. This position works closelywith Product Management and Product Marketing to ensure that key product featuresand competitive differentiators are adequately described to both customers, andthe Sales team.

The Campaign Marketing Managerwill also develop integrated marketing promotion campaigns, utilizing toolssuch as Direct Response Marketing, Event Marketing, and Social Media.


The Campaign Marketing Managerwill be responsible for working within assigned project budgets to a) definecampaign tactics to deliver the campaign strategy b) project manage thego-to-market campaign, including working with Marketing Shared Services (events& conferences, digital marketing, creative services) and c) collaboratingclosely with sales to ensure campaign implementation. They will also haveor share product line revenue responsibility - depending on the Curriculumarea, as well as assigned product(s).


This position may manage one ormore Campaign Marketing Specialist(s) and/or a Campaign Marketing Manager (s),depending on the product area, as well as assigned product(s). Forhis/her direct reports, the Campaign Marketing Manager will provide generalguidance including direction on assignments, review of projects, andperformance evaluation.



  • 4-6 years work experience as aMarketing Specialist or Marketing Manager required.

  • Experience in educationalpublishing preferred.

  • BA/BS in related field required,Master’s of Business Administration, preferred.

  • Strong track record of working oncross-functional teams required.

  • Demonstrated ability toeffectively manage projects required.

  • Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills required.

  • Strong interpersonal skillsrequired: Must be able to interact successfully with customers, sales team,product development team, and product management team.

  • Good time management skills andorganizational skills required.

  • Experience in online marketingtechniques required, including email, social media, product demos (such asBrainshark or Camtasia) required.

  • Proven ability to work in afast-paced, deadline driven, collaborative climate, required.


  • 40% Coordinate with Product Management,Marketing Managers, Integrated Marketing Services team, and the Field todevelop effective marketing and product launch plans.
